Basic Specifications and Appearance Design
Bottle shape characteristics:
The iconic high/straight shoulder design: The strong lines of the bottle shoulders create a clear "shoulder-raising" transition with the neck, a key feature distinguishing Bordeaux bottles from Burgundy sloping-shoulder bottles. This design allows sediment from aged red wine to remain stably at the bottom of the bottle during pouring, preventing it from flowing out with the wine.
Straight-sided bottle: The vertical side lines and uniform symmetry of the bottle facilitate stacking, palletizing, and automated filling, making it suitable for efficient loading into 40HQ containers.
Color and Material: Available in two classic wine glass colors, AG (Amber) and DG (Dark Green), made of food-grade soda-lime glass, effectively blocking UV rays, slowing wine oxidation, and extending shelf life; the standard concave base enhances the bottle's pressure resistance and improves stability when stored.
Bottle Neck Design: Screw-top neck (compatible with screw caps), unlike traditional cork necks, it seals without the need for a corkscrew, avoiding the risk of cork contamination and is more suitable for young, easy-drinking wines, while also reducing the risk of leakage during transportation and storage.
